Cochin (Kochi) is a coastal city
that lies within the district of Ernakulam and is located in the state
of Kerala. This is the second most important port city on the western
coast of India and is the commercial capital of the State. Called the
"Queen of the Arabian Sea", Kochi was an important spice trading centre
on the west coast of India from the 14th century onward and maintained a
trade network with Arab merchants.

is also a part of Greater Cochin region and is classified as a B-1
grade city by the Government of India, making it the highest graded city
in the state. The city is well equipped with social infrastructure
coupled with road, metro rail (first tier 2 city in India operating a
